Friedelsheim GSPs is currently planning a breeding between Cash & Callie to occur very early in 2009. This breeding has a very strong emphasis on producing a top notch versatile gun dog for the field and family. Puppies out of this breeding will be high performance dogs that are a pleasure to the eye but yet have that unyielding desire and drive in the field and water. Puppies out of this breeding will shine in NAVHDA, AKC Hunt Tests and Walking Trials, and many more competiton and hunting venues.
Cash is owned by the Vetter's in Wisconsin. Here is what they say about Cash. "Clyde says Cash is the dog he’s been looking for since he started in this business 15 years ago. It’s always a little scary to put those words in print because you never want to be humbled by your dog, but our faith in our “Man in Black” runs pretty deep. He’s the son of INT CH VC Shooting Starrs Sharp Shooter, MH and INT CH VC Sharp Shooters Funky Diva (daughter of INT CH VC Sharp Shooters Prairie Dancer, MH).
The best way to describe Cash is “he’s Shooter on NOS.” Cash got his mother and grandfathers’ groundspeed and style. He is fast, flashy, hard-charging and stylish, not to mention quite the looker. He’s as cooperative as his father but yet strong-willed enough that he never questions his own abilities. Cash hits the water with gusto and has showed amazing focus and innate abilities at an exceptionally young age. He does his job with confidence and panache. He is truly a wonder to watch.
Cash’ littermates are as consistent in their performance as he is. All seven puppies that tested in Natural Ability got a Prize I, six have tested in Utility with four getting Prize I’s and one getting a very high Prize II. The four Prize I UT dogs all ran in the 2007 Invitational and not only passed, but ALL received the maximum score of 200 points.
With all that being said, Cash is just as happy playing with a ball, a bone, a rope toy, flies or whatever his latest fascination is in the house. He’s a love bug like his dad and has the mischievous nature of his mother. Cash’s puppies, while they are young yet, show tremendous potential as he’s already produced many Prize I Natural Ability dogs. The first litter he sired had a Natural Ability Breeder Award by nine months with all eight puppies getting a Prize I."
Callie is a special female that has loads of talent. In the field, Callie is a medium to large ranging dog and her strong and thorough search complements her very intense pointing ability. In addition, to her strong field abilities, Callie's drive and independence has also been seen in her explosive water performances. While having all the necessary characteristics needed for an outstanding versatile hunting dog, Callie also performs very well as a member of the family. Callie is truly a versatile gundog capable of performing in many different competiton venues. The puppies from her first litter wtih VC Sundance Revelation MH CGC have shown tremendous ability at an early age and that litter has quailified for a NAVHDA Natural Ability Breeders Award.
